Community Champion: Human Service Chamber

The mission of the Human Service Chamber is to unleash the power of human potential through every act of human service.

Michael Corey has served as Executive Director since 2017, during which time HSC's membership has quadrupled to nearly 200 health and human services nonprofits. He is a board member for RAPID 5 , and a member of the Moritz College of Law's National Council. He is a former Board member of the Rise Together Innovation Institute, and a former Co-Chair of the American Constitution Society of Columbus.

Bhumika Patel is the Deputy Director of the Human Service Chamber. She is building a suite of shared professional services and resources available to our members, and builds relationships with our members and with our community’s stakeholders in the health and human services sector. She is a board member and 2018 fellow of the Columbus chapter of New Leaders Council, and a board member and longtime volunteer for OPAWL, a grassroots community organization that organizes for social justice and seeks to elevate the voices and leadership of progressive Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders in Ohio.
