The Battle Over Rules — You Don’t Have to Give In OR Give Up. Kids learn very early that if they push your buttons just right, or if they are just persistent, they can “win” the Rules Battle. In this session we’ll talk about rules---how and why we make them, why children of all ages will try to get around them, and how we can get rid of the power struggles without giving in or giving up.
